Junior surf lifesaving education programs are an age based curriculum ensuring that learning outcomes are relevant, up to date and most of all exciting and fun! For more detailed information about your child's age group, see Junior Development Awards. The junior development program culminates with the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) which on successful completion your child can participate as an active member of our regular patrols. As progress is made to the senior ranks of the club, skills are developed even further and the opportunity to gain the Bronze Medallion is available. Both the SRC and Bronze Medallion courses are run in house at the Devonport SLSC, please contact us for more information.
