Welcome to the Devonport Surf Life Saving Club

The Devonport Surf Life Saving Club is located at Bluff Beach, a beautiful spot nestled between the Bluff headland and the mouth of the Mersey River at Devonport on Tasmania's North West coast. "The Bluff" as it is known to locals, has always been an iconic family gathering point for swimming, sunbathing, picnics in the park, and Surf Life Saving.

The Mersey Bluff Reserve is also home Devonport's only standing lighthouse, Tiagarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre, a sound shell, a lookout, caravan park & camping grounds, walking tracks and picturesque picnic and barbeque locations.

Our fantastic new state-of-the-art surf lifesaving clubhouse facility along with fine dining, cafe; and wetfoot shop for the kids is well under way. The new facility is expected to be completed by October 2010 but in the meantime, we have relocated to the former Motors showroom on Victoria Parade.

The new Clubhouse complex will be complimented with a complete redevelopment of the foreshore and surrounds including car parks, plaza, playgrounds and public amenities, BBQs etc.
